NC TraCS newly developed Research Coordination and Management Unit (RCMU) is now ready and available to help you meet your research goals! Join us for a conversation about this newly formed, centralized research coordinator unit.

As part of the NC TraCS Institute, the RCMU provides professional, experienced study coordinators and project managers equipped to perform a wide range of study coordination services to investigators across UNC and the UNC HealthCare System. The mission of the RCMU is to support investigators in conducting rigorous, high-quality clinical and translational research, while ensuring regulatory compliance, procedural efficiency, and data collection best practices.

Have you ever:

  • Fallen behind schedule while working to hire and onboard a new study coordinator?
  • Wanted more support, but not needed a full-time coordinator?
  • Wished you could have more “boots on the ground” to help you meet your research goals?

The RCMU can be utilized to:

  • Conduct full-scope study management
  • Assist your team with specific study tasks
  • Fill gaps in regular staffing

Benefits of working with the RCMU include:

  • Engage study coordinators without the burden of hiring and managing directly
  • Work with experienced, extensively-trained coordinators to ensure quality and meet study goals
  • Efficient start-up to begin enrolling participants quickly
  • Rigorous study conduct to ensure quality data
  • Pay only for time needed, reducing costs
